After a long while in ‘the wilderness’ (we were pretty remote physically but even more detached mentally), it’s time for a period of planning, seeing friends and family, bike maintenance, and even some [shock-horror] admin!
On leaving Oban we’ll be leaning on public transport a bit more again to keep us away from busy roads (which feel busier than ever now) and to get us across the country faster, as we head south for winter.
We plan to spend time in Algeria and Morocco in due course but that means sorting plans, visas, and bike maintenance, as well as providing a great opportunity to traverse the country seeing friends and family…before heading through France & Spain to see yet more family.
This bit will have its moments but is key to unlocking the next stage in our trip. One thing is for sure, seeing folk we know and love will be a real treat before we head off longer term.
