A Gallery: Terrible termites

As I mentioned in our summary of our Guinea-Bissau experience, the termites are making a return here... (This is a very delayed update as we left Guinea-Bissau back in June!)

Evidence of their giant constructions was visible from almost the moment we crossed the border. We either didn't notice them so much or they really weren't that prevalent in Senegal, particularly in the dry northern areas we spent most of our time in.

For each country we visit I tend to latch on to certain visual themes (Sam does the listening) that we become aware of, and then present them as a photo series. Belatedly, here is Guinea-Bissau, in termite mounds…
